“There is no age limit on learning”, truly followed by all three generations in my family- me, my son, and my mother-in-law learn music at “Manoj George School of Music”. My son is learning Violin from the finest team of the institute. He periodically gets special guidance from Mr. Manoj, himself. At the age of 9, he is growing well in his musical journey. This institute follows Trinity school and many other courses. Teaching covers the fundamentals of Western music theory and practical, from the absolute basics to some more advanced concepts. “Learning here encourages the musician in you.” I am learning guitar from last 1.5 years. I have started learning from basics of guitar and moving towards advance learning. Hats off to excellent teachers who have great knowledge and yet are extremely patience with students. My mother-in-law who is 73 years old also enjoys learning keyboard from institute. Ms. Susha gives close attention on every student’s learning and have friendly approach towards all. I would like to specially mention to Chris sir whose attention and patience have helped us learn music with fun and ease. I highly recommend this School of Music, Wonderful team who are highly passionate about music.!!!
I joined the institute around two years back. I started off as a first grade keyboard student but soon my interest shifted onto piano as my teachers often gave me a chance to play on the piano and sometimes he played a few piano melodies for us. Later, I shifted from keyboard to piano and now I've given my first Trinity exam in piano. As a beginner, I was really nervous about playing the piano but my teachers and Manoj sir boosted my confidence up and now my piano is like my best friend! We also had an annual meet where students played different instruments and we came to know about different instruments. Manoj sir also took us to his recording studio once where he told us about how different musical instruments could be tuned together in the computer instead of manually playing them. My teachers, Manoj sir and the others behave in a very friendly manner to me and even though I got to this reputed musical institution, I've never felt like an outsider and always felt my class as my home. The music school has not only helped me in improving in piano but also made me love music more !!
I feel really blessed to be part of this institution to learn music under some of the most knowledgeable and wonderful teachers. This institution has not only developed me as a musician but also has helped me moulding myself as a person, as i have been taught lot of values. My son and myself started to take classes with Manoj Sir about 3 years ago and we enjoyed each and every classes we attended. Prior to starting classes, people told us that violin was difficult instrument to learn, But with Manoj sir's guidance, it was made simple. The classes were something to look forward to every week, especially with such a lively teacher. The excitement and passion that he shows towards teaching his students is inspiring and made us eager to learn more.
I have attended Violin classes since 8th grade. In the beginning i never was very interested, and played very half heartedly. But Manoj Sir persisted me to keep on practicing. After watching many of his performances and given a chance to perform a few times, I have learned to play with my heart and have also improved. Both Manoj Sir and Susha have made me feel very welcome have helped me to do better.
